Joining us in our new location is Brenda L. Maynard, a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist.
Brenda has been in the massage therapy business since 1992. She received her initial training at Lansing Community College and has many hours of continuing education. She specializes in therapeutic massage, deep tissue massage and reflexology. Brenda received her bachelor’s degree in Wellness from Oivet College in 1994 and her master’s degree in Community Agency Counseling with the core in Holistic Health Care from Western Michigan Univ in 2000.
She taught as an adjunct professor in the Health,P.E., Recreation and Sports Dept at Olivet College for five years and is currently an adjunct professor in the massage therapy program at Lansing Community College. Her class, Massage for Special Populations, deals with massage therapy for people with chronic illness, chronic pain, the elderly and the handicapped.
